The North Georgia Space Grant Fellowship

Scholarships are given to students for excellence in Physics, Astronomy, and related fields.

Undergraduate Research for the Confocal X-Ray Fluorescence Study and the XCITER Lab

The University of North Georgia (UNG) x-ray facility is primarily operated by undergraduate research assistants using equipment that has been provided by the NASA Space Grant, industry, and the UNG Department of Physics.

Development of an Educational Radio Telescope

The North Georgia Educational Radio Telescope (NERT) has been under development with the help of NASA Space Grant funds for the last few years. Undergraduate student assistants are supported in the development of the NERT and to be trained to help conduct undergraduate astronomy labs and public demonstrations using this telescope.
